
Jack Reynolds has had a long and impressive career. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Social Sciences in December 1974. He immediately went into the United States Marine Corps as a Second Lieutenant. While on active duty he served as an infantry officer (including rifle platoon commander and rifle company executive officer) and intelligence officer (S-2) at the battalion level and division combat intelligence.
After 4 years of active duty, Jack attended law school at the University of Houston Law Center, graduating cum laude and having served as a research editor of the law school’s law review. He was licensed as an attorney in Texas in 1983. He had a general civil practice for a number of years, then became a personal injury attorney, becoming board certified in personal injury trial law. In 2004 he went back to law school and in 2006 obtained an advanced law degree (LLM) in Energy, Environmental and Natural Resource Law, again from the University of Houston Law Center.
During this time, Jack continued his military career in the Marine Corps Reserve. As a captain and major he served in every principal staff position at the battalion level, an as a rifle company commander. He was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel, and served on active duty with the I MEF Headquarters in the G-3 Current Operations section for 14 months after 9/11. He retired from the Marine Corps Reserve on January 1, 2003.
His combined background as a retired Marine, personal injury attorney and environmental law attorney made Jack a perfect addition to the firm’s staff to assist with the Camp Lejeune Water Contamination claims.
