Vera is a Houston native who has built her career on dedication, accountability, and getting things done. She studied paralegal studies at Houston Community College and attended the School for Law Enforcement, laying the foundation for a career focused on investigation, research, and litigation support.
What began as a temporary role assisting an attorney quickly became a long-term profession once Vera discovered how much she enjoyed the work. She was drawn to the investigative side of the legal process and the responsibility that comes with moving cases forward.
Vera joined Stanley Law in 2010 and now serves as Senior Paralegal. She oversees case operations across the firm, supports training, answers questions, and steps in wherever needed. Known as the go-to person in the office, she takes ownership of the cases she works on and is deeply committed to seeing them through.
Direct, dependable, and results-focused, Vera believes in hard work and leading by example. Outside the office, she enjoys crafting, biking, reading, and spending time with her family. She’s active in her church and values traditions that bring people together.
